The nearest village, Zahara de los Atunes, has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Andalusia. Year after year, it attracts more and more local and international tourists. The name of this village, located not far from the southernmost tip of Europe, has its origins in the tradition of tuna fishing, which is still practiced here today using the millennia-old “almadraba” method.
